A native Canadian, with a Mississippi phone number & NY drivers license.

Kennedy Davey has spent a majority of the last 18 years in production, in a variety of roles, with each experience complementing the next.

Upon graduating with a degree in Broadcast Communications, she spent 8 years freelancing on feature films in an array of roles; from Ben Stiller’s assistant with Red Hour + Dreamworks to VFX Coordinator at Twentieth Century Fox. Kennedy has been credited on an impressive list of Hollywood Blockbusters.

In 2013, Kennedy transitioned to advertising, working as a Senior Producer at Global adverting agency, Anomaly, where she produced some great work, like, Converse – Made by you, which won at Cannes and AICP.

After 4 years freelancing at both production companies (as a line producer / EP) and ad agencies, she joined Ryan Reynolds’ marketing company, Maximum Effort, as Head of Production in September 2021. Some hits include, the Peloton “Sex and the City” spot, which earned 6.4B media impressions (approximately $19.2M in earned media value) + 887 local and syndicated press hits and the launch of Blake Lively’s Betty Buzz. Most recently, she was the contract creative production lead at Peloton.

In her spare time, she is the Project Lead / EP for a Dolby-funded, filmmaker initiative at Ghetto Film School and also a mentor with the Group Effort Initiative. Kennedy is committed to using her voice to help the quieted ones around her.

Kennedy finds joy in traveling with her husband, playing with dinosaurs with her son and has an annoying passion for efficiency. She loves solving the unsolvable in today’s world of content.
